Gracie Mae will be on lifetime medication for diabetes insipidus, the current cost of her meds are $57 per month, please be sure to consider this when applying to adopt. Yes, she is a very pretty girl but, her medical needs must be a top priority! Along with those meds please remember there’s also the cost of monthly preventives, food, yearly vaccines and yearly bloodwork to be sure her meds are dosed correctly.
Gracie Mae would do fantastic in any home, she loves dogs of all sizes, kids and cats! She is the perfect lady in the house and can be trusted, but will occasionally do a bit of counter surfing. She doesn’t care to be kenneled and has a bit of separation anxiety, we are working on this and she has done perfect with learning, she’ll be okay and her human will come back, she doesn’t tear anything up trying to find you, but will bark, howl and run back and forth, so if you have neighbors you will need to let them know she’s not dying, she’s just missing her people.
