Surrender

Many situations may lead to the need for surrendering your dog. We are completely foster based; therefore, we have only limited homes available for new dogs. Unfortunately, many Dobermans end up in shelters. Their dispositions do not do well in that environment, their increased stress levels lead to lack of appetite, increased kennel aggression and deterioration in health which all lead to a less likely chance of being adopted. We try to pull Dobermans in shelters as soon as possible to decrease this stress level. We also pull sheltered dogs to decrease the likelihood of  them falling into undesirable hands.
